Medical Biller/Accounts Representative. New Jersey Spine Specialists in Summit, NJ is seeking a full time experienced medical biller with strong accounts receivable skills to join their billing team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years? experience in medical billing and ICD 10 coding. Some areas of responsibility include claims review and submissions, accounts receivable recovery denial management, filing appeals and payment posting. In and out of network experience is mandatory along with surgery center billing.
Requirements:
Experience working in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
Ability to work efficiently in fast paced and changing healthcare industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong experience in electronic claims submission and electronic advice
Claim denials and appeals
Knowledge of medical coding
Ease in communication with various levels of management
Time management
This is a full time permanent position and the salary is based on experience. We offer medical, dental and 401K and competitive paid time off. Applicants will be required to undergo an employment and criminal background check.
