Lakeshore Community Health Care is hiring for a full-time Certified Medical Assistant in our Manitowoc clinic in a float position capacity. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
Assisting the nurse practitioner(s) and medical provider(s) in the direct provision of primary care medical services to patients of the clinic.
Performing phlebotomy, obtaining medical histories from patients, supporting patient care, and assisting practitioners during examinations.
Should be a critical thinker, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
Medical Assistant degree is required; certification is preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Compensation includes a competitive wage ($15.00+ based on experience) & a full benefit package that includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, 403B, short & long term disability, paid PTO & holidays.
