Financial Controller Job Opening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - ADVENT, an expanding, independent otolaryngology practice is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our growing ENT practice. We are an independent, innovative medical practice, founded with the goals of providing a unique type of healthcare. The primary role of the Financial Controller is to oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgets and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

In our search for the BEST fit, ADVENT is looking for candidates who possess the following:
5+ years of financial management experience in a similar role
Advanced Degree in Accounting
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
CPA preferred, but not required
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month end/year end close processes
Excellent accounting software and administration skills
Strong leadership skills
Ability to multitask and work easily with others
Excellent Communication Skills
Strong Computer/Technology Skills
Strategic thinker, yet hands on
