Compliance Coordinator Job Opening in Austin, Texas - Sage Recovery & Wellness Center is an outpatient treatment center for adults and adolescents struggling with substance use and mental health issues. Sage Recovery & Wellness Center offers holistic treatment through individual, family, and couples therapy, as well as intensive outpatient (IOP) group therapy programs, coupled with yoga, acupuncture detoxification (acu detox), and qigong. Sage is located in Austin, TX.
Compliance Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:
Stays up to date on all requirements for regulatory requirements and bodies including but not limited to federal, local and state authorities and accreditation agencies
Establishes systems to audit data, ensuring compliance
Prepares compliance audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.
Works with management to create new policies and procedures
Conducts trainings and mock surveys to prepare staff for regulatory audits and surveys
Ensures company procedure and protocol manuals are up to date with all regulatory requirements
Creates and maintains a regular audit and reporting schedule
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Specifications:
Proficiency in regulations and requirements for healthcare organizations
Knowledge of Joint Commission, Department of State Health Services and other regulatory requirements
Strong organizational skills
Auditing experience
Detail-oriented
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree
Experience working in a healthcare organization
Minimum 2 years? experience working with The Joint Commission or similar and DSHS standards
Experience in mental health, a plus
Job Specifications: This is a full-time position that will manage the organization?s local, state, and federal compliance standards. This will include working at both locations in Westlake and the upcoming inpatient facility in East Austin, with the possibility of adding more locations as the position expands.
Salary range: $36,192 ? $53,016 Annual
