The Position:
Transportation Impact?s Inside Sales Account Executive is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Expectations include making 60+ cold calls per day, qualifying prospects and scheduling introductory meetings. Job responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
Sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails
Providing WebEx Presentations as required to incoming clients
Researching accounts, identifying key stakeholders and generating interest
Achieving daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quotas
Maintaining and expanding CRM database of prospects
Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate resource for further development and closure
Required skills:
The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment, have excellent organization and presentation skills, keen attention to detail, and persistence when following up with prospective clients. Job requirements include:
Proven inside sales experience
Experience working with or similar CRM preferred, but not required
Strong follow-up skills are required
Prior track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone presence and experience with high daily call volume
Persistence despite rejection
Proficiency with corporate productivity
Strong and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Tenacity, creativity and professionalism
BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred, but not required
