Nurse Practitioner Job Opening in Gretna, Louisiana - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Family Nurse Practitioner
Looking for dynamic, self ?motivated, Family Nurse Practitioner to work in an Occupational Medicine Clinic. Part time hours available with the potential for full time.
Qualifications:
Unencumbered Active Louisiana APRN License and DEA Certification.
Active National Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner.
2 years experience as APRN, Occupational Medicine is a plus. Will consider candidates with acute care and urgent care experience.
Basic Cardiac Life Certification.
Must be able to suture, read x-rays, perform removal of foreign body to eyes, incision and drainage, interpret radiographs, audiograms, pulmonary function tests and FIT exams.
Well-developed critical thinking skills, experience making fitness for duty decisions and can show logical progression to decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and as part of the healthcare team.
Exhibits professionalism at all times.
