Position Overview
The position of Sales Account Manager is responsible for acquiring business and achieving sales targets. Maintain and develop good relationship with customers through personal reference or meetings or via telephone etc. Must act as a bridge between the company and its current client base and future as well. Help Company in forthcoming projects and discuss on special promotions. Review own performance and aim at exceeding targets. Record sales and order information and report the same to management. Provide accurate feedback on future buying trends. Generate revenue from the assigned set of existing customer accounts. Required to give product demonstration, map customer requirement to the product features, establish customer benefits, negotiate and close the business. The candidate will be responsible for achieving the assigned sales target from existing clients by upselling and renewing.
Outline of responsibilities:
Achieves targeted revenue and profit from Key Accounts; analyses sales by location/SKU & identifies opportunities to increase sales & solutions;
Develops and implements annual customer business plan with Accounts
Effectively communicates both internally as well as externally with customers
Works collaboratively with other teams in the company
Pro-actively develops sales/merchandising strategies for Key Account;
Maintain high levels of client satisfaction across the customer base.
Maintain account records and sales funnel information and provide activity reports to management as requested.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills & Experience
5 ? 10 years account management experience in consumer goods
Experience with private label or white label products will be considered a strong asset;
College diploma or university degree (business or marketing preferred);
Prior Key Account management experience is required, with some hands-on experience in dealing with leading retailers such as Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us preferred;
Financial and sales analysis skills required;
Excellent English communication (oral & written) and strong abilities in other languages would be a definite asset.
Demonstrated ability to build effective customer relationships;
A self-starter able to work with minimal supervision;
A solid working knowledge of the business, including production, shipping, ordering, invoicing & merchandising;
Exceptional interpersonal skills required, with a natural and engaging approach with customers and an ability to detect and anticipate issues;
Excellent organizational, planning and negotiation skills
Proficiency in all Microsoft office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Continually reach and want to exceed set expectations.
Develop relationships with buyers and organize monthly meetings while also trying to grow their account base
