POSITION SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager is a vital position responsible for the planning, organizing, and managing the internal and external resources, transition milestones, and deliverables that are subset of the overall transformation program plan focused on the establishing the IT Service Management Center of Excellence using an Service Provider.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the Program leadership team to establish the various project plans and milestones IT service Management CoE
Engage with the internal and external service provider teams to create Farshore technical development and process excellence teams
Manage PMs from Services Provider for various service area transitions
Manage Risks, Issues, and Action items
Facilitate issues resolution and decision making
Manage escalations and problem solving
Provide updates to Program leadership on the project progress
SPECIFIC REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in in managing and implementing the ITIL processes
Experience in the implementing ServiceNow work management platform for the IT operations
Sound knowledge of the process engineering and IT work process design frameworks
General understanding of the Infrastructure tools and its integration with ServiceNow
Understanding of Service Catalog development process
Hands-on experience with implementing SaaS Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
? PMP/Agile Certified
? Agile work management experience
? Bachelor?s degree in related field, such as information technology, computer science
? Requires 5-8 years of relevant work experience
? In-depth knowledge and experience managing projects across infrastructure domains (network, compute, collaboration)
? Ability to work in a highly collaborative and highly matrixed, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, transparent, flexible and vendor centric work environment.
? Pragmatic problem solver with good judgment, proactive and independent ability to recommend solutions to challenges
