MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum one year customer service experience required. Front desk experience preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong customer service, oral communication and computer skills required. Bilingual is a plus. Ability to multi task with strong organizational skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to maintain the highest standards of guest service and hospitality at all times.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Greet guest and assign rooms for individuals/groups
- Checks guests' in and out. Makes reservations over telephone, from emails and in person
- Verify customers' credit, and establish payment
- Answers the phone at the front desk to respond to current and prospective guests? needs
- Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient
- Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills
- Communicate guests? requests and complaints to the appropriate department and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Ability to follow an appropriate course of action based on policies and procedures.
- Maintain guest accounts to ensure correct information
- Sell the rooms in such a manner as to attain maximum revenue and occupancy
- Provide answers to a variety of questions from guests about local attractions, directions and dining options
- Handle guest services such as mail, faxes etc.
