As a corporate accountant you will contribute to the success of the company by providing accurate general accounting services including booking journal entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and daily and monthly cash disbursements and receipts. You will also get to perform actual vs. budget variance analysis, allocation of corporate overhead expenses/fees to the Bridge affiliates, and assisting with acquisition/B&A accounting as prescribed by US GAAP.
Your Key Responsibilities?
Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports ? prepare monthly journal entries, financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations
Assist with financial audits and annual budget preparation ? compile key assumptions and capital budget information
Carefully analyze general ledger and budget variances in individual ledger accounts
Perform depreciation of PPE and amortization of acquired intangible assets
Make things run smoother by developing process and procedure documentation and enhancing internal controls
Reconcile/eliminate related party transactions for consolidated financial reporting and assisting with related party disclosures in managed fund financials
To do this effectively you should have?
Advanced knowledge of financial databases, transaction processes, reviewing contracts, accounting principles and procedures
Extensive experience creating financial statements, performing general ledger function including the month and year end close process
Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and expert knowledge of Excel
