Material Handler Job Opening in Conway, Arkansas - Material handler operators are responsible for multiple machines per day in a department that spans 256 yards in length.
The most physical demands associated with material handling revolve around four essential job functions:
1. Loading of Material Cart
2. Transportation of Materials (Empty & Full Spools)
3. Unloading of Material Cart
4. Operation of Filament Stripper
Marginal Functions:
1. Maintain cleanliness of area including sweeping, picking up debris, and manning the burn station.
2. Dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with established guidelines.
3. Perform routine equipment inspections, quality checks and Baishaku check sheet.
4. Maneuver equipment (carts) from set to set.
5. Proficient forklift operation.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS & SPECIALIZED SKILL
1. Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, as well as federal, state and local
2. Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
3. Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.
4. Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
5. On the job training, training and certification, regular training and re-certification required.
6. Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams.
The physical demand level for this job is classified as VERY HEAVY, with constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, gripping/grasping, and pushing/pulling with force of up to 100 pounds.
