Senior Accountant (Contract) Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - Sundance Bay-Salt Lake City Utah
Sundance Bay in the Salt Lake City area is looking to hire an enthusiastic, dedicated accounting professional as a temp to permanent Senior Accountant. A willingness to assist with varying projects and activities is a must.
Responsibilties:
Works closely with the Controller responsible for financial reporting to ensure that operational issues are addressed that impact the financial statements.
Assist with annual audit
Assist on various accounting projects including balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations
Conducting research on discrepancies and making appropriate corrections or adjustments
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting
Three years of accounting experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Joint Venture and/or Intercompany Accounting experience
Property Management Experience
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Organized and attentive to detail
A highly motivated self-starter who works well independently
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word)
Yardi experience a plus
Pay commensurate with experience
