Technical Sales Associate Job Opening in Plymouth, Michigan - Stardock Corporation, a software development and gaming company located in Plymouth, MI, is currently seeking a full-time Technical Sales Associate. This position will generate net-new business from Stardock?s Business Software Suite - Multiplicity, Fences and Start 8/10. This position will be focused on converting prospects and upselling established accounts for enterprise adoption. This position will help free trial users of our business software become customers that achieve enterprise wide adoption.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Make 25-50 outbound calls and emails a day to small and medium sized business customers and prospects
Follow up on all trial downloads daily
Drive attendance to industry events to meet with our Executive Staff
Work with existing customers to increase software license footprint across the account
Document all new opportunities in a CRM
Set appointments for as required for senior sales staff to support larger deals
Follow a required training plan set by the General Manager/VP Business Development
Education and/or Experience Desired:
Software technical sales person with a 1-3 years of experience in business development, account management, or software pre-sales experience and/or applicable internship.
Bachelor?s degree (preferred) or Associate?s Degree (required).
PC and Windows Enthusiast preferred. Builds and customizes their own PCs.
Looking to pursue a career in the high-tech industry in technical sales.
Familiarity with email marketing and lead-conversion processes.
Blogging or internet communication experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
