POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will provide support in all functional areas of the Human Resources department day-to-day activities. The position will provide additional administrative support in areas which include, but are not limited to, recruitment, personnel records, payroll, employee relations, benefit administration and compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Reliable transportation
Minimum of 5-7 years? previous experience in a Human Resources environment
Previous experience in an administrative support role
Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills; both verbally and in writing
Effective interpersonal skills to interact successfully with customers, management and team members
Must be detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills
Must be able to maintain and manage highly confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner
Must be able to multi-task effectively, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced environment
Must maintain high level of professionalism especially when dealing with time sensitive issues and mandated deadlines
Ability to utilize a computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods of time
Proficiency with the use of personal computers to include Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Must possess and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Provide backup support as needed for front desk coverage
General knowledge of State and Federal employment law is required
Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must successfully pass pre-employment background check & drug screening
Other related duties as assigned
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in human resources or related field, equivalent work experience, or a combination thereof
Experience with ADP payroll and labor management programs a plus
Previous experience administering employee benefits a plus
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use. Independent lifting ability of up to 25 lbs.
