DevOps Engineer Minimum of 7 Years Experience

As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with technical leads and developers of various teams to assess existing problems and to come up with process improvements. You will identify improvements in coding development and deployment processes. You will participate in planning and delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency. You will execute on plan by building coding standardization and automating processes for the organization. You will survey developers and technical members of the organization to understand their pain points in the coding and development process, and help resolve them in a timely manner. You will collaborate with the rest of the DevOps team to deliver consistent and holistic solutions to the organization.
Responsibilities
? Works closely with Tech Leads and developers of various teams to assess existing problems and to come up with process improvement solutions
? Identifies bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes
? Participates in planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects
? Executes on plan by building coding standardizations and automating processes for the organization
? Surveys developers and technical members of the organization to understand their main pain points in the coding and development process
? Collaborates with the rest of DevOps team to deliver consistent and holistic solution to the organization
Qualifications
? Minimum of 7 years of programming experience
? Bachelor?s or Master?s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred
? Experience in DevOps (e.g. automating IT operations) tooling such as Jenkins OSS or Enterprise, Chef, Atlassian, IBM UrbanCode, CA Automic, Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, etc..
? Experience working in applications, systems or IT operations
? Experience in agile methodology such as sprint planning and backlog grooming
? Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
? Possesses working knowledge of two or more programming languages
? Comfort with frequent, incremental code, and testing
? Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
? Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace

? Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.

? Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
? Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
? Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
