Java React Engineer Job Opening in ATLANTA, Georgia - Java/React.JS Developer
Atlanta, GA
Currently looking for a Java developer with some experience with React.JS Developers to fill a 12-month contract in the Atlanta, GA area. Interested candidates should have at least 3 years of Java development be proficient with React.js with experience with popular React.js workflows.
Please note that candidates must be able to work as a W2 employee as the end client will not allow us to use subcontractors.
Responsibilities of the Java /React.JS Developer
Develop new user-facing features using Java and React.js for an enterprise customer service application
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Requirements of the React.JS Developer
Strong proficiency in Java
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript a plus
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $60.00 to $75.00 /hour
