Southern Season is now hiring a Part Time Sales Associate for our Candy Department in our Chapel Hill, NC store. This position will work to provide excellent customer service within our Candy Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a stable company with plans to grow.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by building relationships with our customers, uncovering our customer?s needs and closing the sale. You need to be a team player who is able to work in various capacities i.e. sales, merchandising and maintaining the overall aesthetics of the store.
Compensation: Commensurate with the experience of the successful applicant.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Product merchandising skills.
A passion for candy.
Ability to satisfy customer complaints in an intelligent manner and to develop customer suggestions.
Experience with computer and register operations.
Ability to work a schedule that is based on the store?s needs.
Energetic and engaging personality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
Ability to maneuver effectively selling floor and stock room.
Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
