Senior Software Developer Job Opening in New York, New york - BlindData is a technology driven recruiting platform used to identify the very best programmers using standardized testing. We utilizes adaptive multiple choice and coding tests, both online and in-person, to uniformly assess the skill level of our candidates.
Our testing methodology relies on three sequential tests designed by award-winning programmers from ACM-ICPC as well as distinguished professors at top computer science universities in the US.
We are looking for Senior Software Developers to develop state-of-the-art C++ trading applications. Appropriate candidate can work out of New York, Austin TX, or Waterloo Canada
One must possess excellent mastery of the following:
Exceptional C++ programming skills (at least 5 years of nonacademic experience)
Experience working with real-time high performance distributed systems/ fast-cycle version iterations
Familiarity with SQL and databases
Data Modeling
Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience with financial software, especially within Fixed Income a plus
Experience with financial broker/exchange APIs (e.g. price feeds, order execution) a plus
OS level software/ Kernel a plus
