Job Summary:
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will work side by side and collaborate with Web Development, ETL, Data Analyst, and Business teams to determine the testing requirements and ensure high quality software is delivered to our clients. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for requirement analysis, writing test cases, automating test cases, manual and automated test execution, test reporting and defect management for the assigned projects. This individual requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to validate data in source and target systems. Be able to accurately track and report on all QA activities to the QA Lead. This individual should show strong passion for taking initiative and responsibility.
This position will report to the QA Team Lead.
Essential Functions:
Understand and analyze the requirement documents /user stories to identify the testable requirements.
Collaborate with Business Analyst, Product Development, Data Analyst and ETL teams to understand the testing needs.
Reviews project requirements and specifications throughout the testing lifecycle with a goal of providing active feedback concerning testability of software.
Analyze and understand ETL structural mapping and technical specification documents.
Create test cases to perform Sanity, Functional, Regression, Database and ETL Testing.
Identify test scenarios for automation and create automated Test cases.
Perform Manual and Automated testing.
Validation of data transformations and perform End-to-End data validation between Source and Target systems.
Validate Client reported issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Should have atleast 2-4 years of experience in following QA Process and tools in an agile environment.
Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in Functional, Database and ETL testing.
Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in writing SQL queries using Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL database.
Minimum 2 years of experience in ETL data validation.
Minimum 1 year of experience using Automated Testing tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare ETL testing experience
Exposure to Atlasssian tools (Jira)
Exposure to OMOP data model.
Any testing certifications in hand or willing to obtain.
