Tax Accountant Job Opening in Shelbyville, Indiana - Brammer & Yeend is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their growing team in Shelbyville, Indiana. As a Tax Accountant, you will play an important role in client engagements, develop working relationships with clients and be able to shift focus as priorities change.
Position would be 50-60 hours per week during tax season and part time hours during the offseason period.
Position Details:
Responsible for general bookkeeping and trial balance maintenance for clients
Prepare individual and business tax returns, including Form 1040, 1120, 1065, 1120S
Develop, build and manage client relationships
Research tax matters and communicate those findings to clients
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Minimum of 3 years tax preparation experience with individual, corporate and partnership returns
Detail oriented
Willing to develop client relationships
