Financial Analyst Job Opening in Spartanburg, South carolina - Job Summary:
Under general supervision conducts analysis and distributes financial reports and statements; reviews financial benchmarks and stays current with financial trends.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assists in administration of financial analysis OLAP software platform (TM1 system)
· Prepares, validates, and distributes monthly report including budget, overtime, and turnover analysis
· Assists in the preparation and presentation of financial budgets
· Assists in the development and analysis of corporate and operational budgets
· Compiles, consolidates, and summarizes budget information
· Creates efficient and effective operation reports
· Loads and validates data in TM1; including bookkeeping adjustments
· Prepares profitability analyses, cost and pricing models, and revenue and expense trend analyses
· Analyzes and reports on key drivers of business and company performance
· Monitors and develops reports pertaining to business performance growth
· Maintains relationship with other departments to obtain uniform data
· Prompt and regular attendance is required
Job Requirements:
· Knowledge of principles, practices, and theories of accounting; including budgeting and financial analysis
· Strong communication skills with all levels of company personnel
· Computer literate with strong MS office skills
Physical Requirements:
This is an office position that consistently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/Finance with three to five years of relevant experience.
