Job Description:
The project manager will represent the company for all production and project management related items and is responsible for the entire production process of the company. Coordinates all activities related to the Remodeling or Construction of projects from conception to completion. The project manager is responsible for completing each project on time, within or under budget, with a high level of quality, and to complete client satisfaction. The project manager accomplishes this by directing and scheduling all field employees, sub-contractors, Vendors, inspectors, and others in the efforts needed to achieve these goals. This includes coaching, training, organizing, and scheduling field employees.
Assist and collaborate with owner regarding project estimating, material takeoffs, Project job cost tracking throughout projects and paperwork, implement and manage processes and procedures to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
Work performed primarily consists of Residential remodeling and Addition projects with some light commercial construction.
Salary based on experience.

Education and Skills Requirements:
Degree in Construction management or equivalent preferred
Management experience as a project manager or Certified lead Carpenter.
Trade experience as a carpenter preferred
knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Ability to plan and problem solve
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Leadership and human resources management skills
Excellent time and project management skills
Communication Proficiency.
Teamwork Orientation
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
Organized
Knowledge of Remodeling and construction trades, practices, procedures, techniques, Equipment, materials, estimating, cost control, and applicable building codes.
Ability to coach and train field carpenters
Responsibilities:
Assist Sales and management team with project estimates, material takeoffs, material pricing & acquisition, material delivery, subcontractor negotiations, and maintaining project paperwork.
Review Plans and specifications to ensure timely completion, to mitigate any potential construction issues, and ensure the project can be completed within the contracted budget.
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones, Ensure that issues that may arise in the course of executing a project, including weather condition or other emergencies, that may pose a delay in the project completion, are resolved
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks associated with the projects.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to workers and clients.
Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling
Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Develop and implement quality control programs.
Responsible for negotiating contracts with contractors, vendors, architects, and any other necessary person(s)
Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
Coordinates work of field employees and subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects.
Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
Manages day to day client interactions, needs, and expectations to ensure Client satisfaction
Professional development of directly supervised employees to ensure their growth
Participate in Continuing Education to expand knowledge base
Maintain all vehicles, tools, and equipment in good operating condition through regular maintenance and prompt repairs when necessary
Attend staff, production, and construction meetings as required.
Represent the company in a professional manner and Manage all aspects of projects from conception to completion
Collaborate with Owner to develop and implement effective processes and procedures related to the production and management of projects.
