Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer Job Opening in Corning, New york - Experienced Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer wanted at well established accounting firm in Corning.
Responsibilities include:
- write up and input of client books and records- monthly bank reconciliations and financial reporting- monthly and quarterly sales tax filings
- payroll entries for current and after the fact payrolls- preparation of payroll reports monthly and
quarterly- year end and adjusting entries for preparation of payroll tax return
- preparation of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns as well as not-for-profits,
retirement plan and gift tax returns
- general office duties (answering the telephone, making appointments, filing, etc)
Eligible candidates should have an outgoing personality and be able to make clients feel comfortable.
This position is full-time and includes health insurance, vacation and retirement benefits.
