Applications & Software Engineer Job Opening in Millville, New jersey - I. PURPOSE:
As the company continues to grow there is a need to add a full-time person to the Engineering Department that will be the primary resource to manage, monitor and maintain our Excel and SQL based product configurators for Seradex Order Stream (ERP System) utilizing our ECR/ECN process. This position will also support the design, development and programming of new systems as needed and when projects arise.
II. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and Monitor overall effectiveness of Excel and SQL based product configurators for Seradex Order Stream (ERP System)
Assess and resolve ECRs related to configurator incidents and necessary Change requests using Excel and SQL scripts
Document ECR resolution and publish related ECN, which includes writing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and SWI (Standard Work Instructions)
Chart and Analyze performance metrics for product configurators using SQL and Excel style reports
Maintain the DriveWorks 3D configurator rules and parametric models and drawings
Design and Develop Engineering related dashboards and reports to support the day to day operations
Support in the design, development of a standalone MES style application and systems to record productivity on the shop floor
Other:
CAD or 3D modeling experience working with Parametric parts in SolidWorks
CAM related experience or knowledge to support the day to day operations
Create and maintain SWI (Standard Work Instructions), Installation Instructions and SWD (Standard Work Documents)
Write technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions
Participate in overall systems testing
III. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a BA/BS in a computer information technology area such as computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
Experience 1-4 years in Engineering
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong verbal, mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills
Well-versed in various programming languages
Project Management skills
