Senior Software Engineer Job Opening in Weehawken, New jersey - We at PCB Apps have fantastic long term contract opportunity in Weehawken,NJ. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
Skills and Experience:
At Least 10 years of proven software development experience.
Ability to help support G+ application as senior escalation point of contact
VB scripting (potential to support the G+ scripts)
Expert knowledge of FIS (formerly Sungard) product ? Global Plus
Hands on technical lead with experience building scalable distributed platform in Vision.
Ability and experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to set an example for team members in the following: Hard work, focus on client delivery, preparedness, organization, positive attitude and respect for others
Proven experience planning, designing, and implementing software architectures and large-scale business solutions.
Excellent presentations skills: Communicate in a clear and concise manner; individually or in front of a group and get message across quickly. Experience in interacting with senior management
Sound IT experience in some combination of application architectures, software development and infrastructure, systems integration and package implementation.
Knowledge of Architectural Standards and Frameworks.
Excellent analysis and design skills, including familiarity with OOA/D methodologies and tools
Prior experience of working with multiple trams (local, virtual/global) and ability to co-ordinate and manage tasks. Ability to effectively lead offshore development teams.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior working experience with Banking or Wealth Management is a big plus
Strong leadership skills, decision making and problem solving abilities.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of FIS (formerly Sungard) Global Plus - Mandatory
Expert in Vision programming - Mandatory

Unix and Autosys jobs
Oracle and Sql Server Database
SVN Versioning
