Job Description
The primary function of the Outside Sales Representative is to generate profitable sales from a fleet of trucks and equipment. The position would cater to the Market Segments geared towards those customers who consistently use trucks and equipment of all sizes, makes and models.
Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new customers
Maintain positive customer relations
Visit customers on a regular basis
Maintain accureate and detailed customer records
Coordinate with operations team regarding new customers and their specific business needs
Perform other duties assigned by management
Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals
Qualifications
Self starter
Strong organizational skills
Direct sales and/or project management experience
Background in heavy duty truck and equipment repairs and parts, is desirable
Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills, required
Ability to effectively give presentations and business reviews to management
Efficient and effective data gathering skills
Effective verbal, written and digital communication skills
Ability to work independently and with management group
