About the position
This is a Temporary position, working out of our office building in Westlake, OH. Your responsibilities will primarily include performing analysis, research, and writing of criminal statutory code for municipal, Ohio, and other jurisdictions. General legal research and other related tasks may be assigned as well.
Who we want on our team
We seek a motivated, self-starter who possesses the following qualifications:
Be a law student having completed at least one full year of law school, at a law school accredited by the American Bar Association
Proficient computer skills including MS Office tools - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experienced with using LexisNexis and/or Westlaw
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical thinking and researching skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work individually with minimal supervision
Sound problem solving skills and judgment with the ability to identify and clearly communicate issues
Must be available to work at least 24 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week.
