Curatess focuses on delivering care solutions (e.g., telemedicine) that support and improve the recovery of patients in post-acute settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted & independent living facilities, and at home. Professionals leveraging Curatess solutions form a network of care that enables remote and timely assessment of patients experiencing a change in condition as relates to a medically prescribed care plan. With registered nurses at the patient?s side, and nurse practitioner and doctors at a distant site, Curatess is able to help its customers create 24/7/365 care coverage for events such as a fall, shortness of breath, abdominal distress, and other changes in condition.
Curatess helps PEOPLE when they are in a time of need, and connects DOCTORS, NURSES, and FAMILY when information sharing and support is critical.
OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY:
The Mobile Application Engineer (?Engineer?) will be a member of the Curatess Engineering and Product Development team, and will be heavily involved in the full product life cycle of multiple applications. The Engineer will have a significant impact on the functionality, features, and evolution of the entire product portfolio at Curatess . The ideal candidate for an Engineer will be an energetic overachiever, with a team focused startup mentality, who is passionate about solving problems and doing whatever is necessary to get the job done on time.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of healthcare information technology, HIPAA compliance, and cloud-based services. Very strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to manage competing expectations is required. The Engineer will be proficient in developing on both Android and iOS platforms, ideally with a several examples of their work published to the Play and App Stores. Strong preference will be given to engineers that have experience developing with Xamarin and/or React Native.
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:
A minimum of a Bachelor?s degree in; Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study.
Proven track record of deliverables, time management, and project planning skills.
Effective at oral and written communication for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
3+ years of experience with mobile application development with Android APIs and frameworks. Including a strong understanding of Android OS, Android SDK, and Java. Must have a strong understanding of; Android Studio developer tool chain, nuances of fragments and Android XML layouts, and of how to create adaptive interfaces that work for multiple device form factors.
3+ years of experience with mobile application development with iOS, using Objective-C and Swift. Must have a strong understanding of XCode and its tools
Examples and experience in developing large complex Multiview mobile applications.
3+ years of experience with extensive hands-on experience creating custom UI controls, consuming RESTful and Real-time APIs, designing protocols, implementing delegate interfaces, animations, and performance optimizations.
3+ years of experience with client side technologies such as CSS and Javascript and knowledge of other languages like C, C++, Go, Ruby, etc.
Understanding of Application Security Encryption and current security best practices.
Proficiency in using a Mac and Linux computers for software development.
Self-starter and self-reliant to define strategies and work collaboratively and independently, take ownership of tasks and deliverables.
STRONGLY PREFER:
Integrating Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE peripherals.
Understanding of distributed systems.
Experience doing DevOps and using tools like; New Relic, ELK, Airbrake, Docker, Puppet, Codeship, PagerDuty.
