Purpose of role
Support Americas Controller and Finance/Accounting function
Key Responsibilities
Payroll and Benefits Accounting.
Month Close and Reporting.
Balance sheet and Bank statement reconciliations.
Tax accounting.
SOX Compliance documentation package.
Fixed Assets accounting and safeguarding.
Regional vendor contract accounting.
Internal and External audit support.
Participate in Financial Planning.
Assist line manager and senior leadership on special projects.
Supervise Accounting support staff.
Skill Requirements
7+ years? relevant experience in General Accounting.
Bachelor?s degree or higher with evidence of accounting principles, systems, and reporting tools knowledge.
Experience working within companies with multiple subsidiaries.
High level reporting and analytical skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with intercompany consolidation software and general ledger ERP Software.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and challenging timelines.
Motivated self starter.
