Accountant / Product Support Specialist Job Opening in Hauppauge, New york - AccountantsWorld, an industry leader in providing professional software to accountants for 29 years, including cloud-based solutions for accounting, write-up, trial balance, payroll processing, document management, client portals, practice management, and website creation, is seeking a Product Support Specialist to join our growing Customer Support team in Hauppauge, NY.
Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to assist our customers with various topics and issues, as they relate to our cloud-based solutions, created exclusively for Accountants. In addition to direct customer support functions, this position works with Product Development on the maintenance and testing of our accounting and payroll software.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical capabilities with ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines
Ability to operate independently with minimal direction
Open minded to new technology and cloud-based applications
Required experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or other related field
1-3 years of payroll processing and compliance reporting
