Software License Auditor, Associate Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - The Role?**
The Associate Dual Auditor, License Management, works closely with the entire License Management team. The Associate?s overall objective is to protect the intellectual property rights of Infor software by collecting information necessary to establish whether the customer?s use of software aligns with the terms and conditions of their license agreements. The Associate Dual Auditor is responsible for preparing the customer for audit, conducting research as well as potentially performing analysis and reporting of the information collected from the customer. An understanding of contract parameters of each customer and the ability to use internal tools and systems is vital.
Responsibilities?**
Interacts with team members and managers to maintain professional standards and develop knowledge regarding policies, processes, products, etc.
Makes regular use of SharePoint to ensure that her/his knowledge is complete and up to date on the products and processes on which s/he have been trained
Manages workload effectively, using the documented team?s processes to ensure successful completion of tasks under close supervision.
Achieves identified metric on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Provides accurate feedback of work and any incidents arising that should be brought to a manager or colleague?s attention.
Continuously develops knowledge required to complete assigned tasks.
Contract Analysis Tasks: ** Conducts research to determine customer?s license information, supporting other Infor (LMO and non-LMO) teams by preparing and providing data and information to these teams.
Performs initial screening of customers to establish sufficient license information for audit.
Focuses on developing knowledge of CA SSC processes for at least 3-4 specific products and the tools used to analyze them.
Provides pertinent company data as required in the assigned customer HEAT profile when required.
Researches history of customer?s company. Consults with trainer and/or manager for complex situations.
Locates, reads and reviews software license contracts to find the relevant information.
Extracts all relevant data and any addenda to the contracts.
Consults with manager about contracts which may be linked by organization, country or product.
Contributes to maintaining the integrity of data stored on in-house systems and databases.
Responds to queries on licensing terms & conditions under supervision
On an ad hoc basis, provides coworkers with licensed user numbers, product information, licensing terms and conditions and other audit related information
Replies promptly and accurately to requests, ensuring all information is entered into applicable systems
Analysis and Reporting Tasks: ** For basic audits, analyze and interpret the information received from customers to determine the customer?s compliance with their software license contracts.
Analyze and interpret the information received from customers for basic audits and specified systems
Identify the data that requires further discussion with the customer to achieve a full and accurate audit finding. Flag these in the record and discuss with the customer
With supervision, write full and accurate reports of the audit findings
Work effectively with relevant License Management systems to maintain accurate
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35,000.00 /year
