Full Stack Developer (Software Engineer) Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Our company has multiple openings in our Houston, Texas office. We are seeking a talented and motivated person to join our engineer team as a Full Stack Developer (Software Engineer) -- an evangelist who can inspire, lead and deliver great solutions for our web and mobile platforms.
Core Responsibilities
Qualified candidate will be responsible for getting up to speed quickly on our in-house applications and then leading development efforts.
Support front-end and back-end applications
Write, modify and troubleshoot complex Stored Procedures
Evaluate existing digital platforms in terms of usability and visual design
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network and application performance issues
Work closely with Product Management during planning & prototyping phases
Work in a collaborative team environment
Professional Qualifications
Prior experience collaborating with fellow engineers and product managers
Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a highly organized environment
Excellent communication skills are required for both client and team interaction
Candidate must be able to work occasional night and weekend hours based on project deadlines and be On-Call to support applications as needed
Technical Qualifications
3+ Years of Professional Experience in C#
2+ Years of Professional Experience in MS SQL Server with a focus on Stored Procedures and Functions
Experience with:
Core
Angular or Angular2
TypeScript
Responsive Web Design ( RWD ) patterns
Git SCM
Beneficial Experience
Creating killer user interface designs using your preferred tool (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, etc.)
Experience with Micro ORMs (Dapper preferred, but not required)
iOS/Android Experience
Experience with Webforms & Telerik User Controls to allow reading and supporting various legacy applications as they are converted to our new platform
Experience with & ASP Classic to allow reading and supporting various legacy applications as they are converted to our new platform
