Structural Engineer Job Opening in Santa Fe, New mexico - his position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who is looking for a chance to stand out. You can be a part of a small northern New Mexico firm providing architecture and engineering design services to a variety of government clients. This position will work under the direction of the Principal Structural Engineer in our Santa Fe office.

Are you a quality-minded structural engineer with at least 3 years of relevant design experience in support or facility design, operation and maintenance?

Are you an engineer proficient with design using AutoCAD/BIM/REVIT?

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Support of facility design, operation and maintenance.
Structural engineering design, analysis, principles, design guides and appropriate standards, building codes and technical specifications.
Engineering calculation preparation, applications of engineering methods and application of technology aided engineering tools.
Provides system integration within and across disciplines.
Performs design, installation and commissioning of commercial, industrial and safety related systems.
Structural analysis of re-configured facility space, and design to conform to the IBC Codes, ASCE standards, and material standards such as ACI and AISC IEBC requirements for alterations.
Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Provides construction and project support.
Minimum Job Requirements:
3+ years of experience in engineering design.
Extensive experience with Autodesk products including the most recent versions of AutoCAD, RISA 3D Modeling, BIM and Revit.
Must be organized with good oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Familiar with DOE and DOD design standards and applicable design codes and standards.
BS Degree in engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Must be a US Citizen
Professional Engineer registration in the State of New Mexico (or in process) is preferred.
