Senior Provider-Contract Developer Job Opening in Irvine, California - A high energy Healthcare Technology Company is seeking a seasoned Senior Provider-Contract Developer for an opportunity to join our team in one of the fastest growing industries. The Senior Provider-Contract Developer will develop and drive company goals in providing contracting and proposal development within the organization located in Orange County. The Senior Provider-Contract Developer's role requires a proactive, self-starter who possesses exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills. Individuals must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and possess stellar communication skills for C-Suite interactions.
Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Provider-Contract Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining provider relationships with hospital systems and provider Groups; evaluate, negotiate, and implement contracts with assigned target reimbursements; design and implement strategies to meet or exceed contracting goals; and be a champion in the industry in communicating the organization's value proposition. You will also participate in tactical planning and development for the department in maintaining awareness of marketplace trends that affect overall business strategy.
Additional responsibilities include:
Secure provider contracts to support institutional program initiatives
Thoughtful execution the contract process including contract review, negotiation, implementation, and communications
Presentations to the Executive Team summarizing contracting activity, closure rates and changes
Develop an understanding of provider needs to promote collaborative solutions
Participate with Sales and Marketing to ensure a single consistent company message to the provider community and to address client driven contracting
Track and update all provider activity in the company's CRM
Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws
Establish contacts within the provider community to expedite contract discussions
Meet regularly with the VP of Client Relations & Implementations
Skills and Knowledge
The Senior Provider-Contract Developer must demonstrate extensive knowledge of the health care industry with a thorough understanding of provider reimbursements and contracting, and Medicare industry trends. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills in a health care setting preferred.
Specific job qualification requirements of the Senior Business/Contract Developer include:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 15 years' experience in a contracting role/provider relations
Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in hospital contract closures
Highly developed negotiation and contract management skills with demonstrated ability to secure contract s
Understanding of hospital contracting procedures
Proven ability in maintaining relationships with key providers and stakeholders
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task at a high level in a fast-paced environment
Effective and professional presentation skills
Accomplished in MSOffice and contract management tools
Must be a self-starter, solve problems quickly and proactively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision
Must be a team player and enjoy an open-office concept environment
