Healthcare Legal/Compliance Business Process and Workflow An... Job Opening in Indianapolis, Indiana - We are currently seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to work directly with lawyers and legal staff as well as administrative departments of hospitals and health systems to gather requirements, develop specifications, assist in documenting new processes and procedures, designing workflows, facilitate testing, training and user acceptance and oversee rollout of the solution.
Requirements
Contracting experience in healthcare - physician, vendor, lease, etc.
Understanding of Stark, Anti-Kickback, False Claims a plus
Proficient at drawing inferences from process details and linking these inferences to the big picture
Ability to use a systematic approach to improve processes
Systematic approach to making an organization's workflow effective and efficient
Able to identify individual tasks to be accomplished to provide a certain level of consistency in output
Ability to provide training to individuals and large groups of varying users from administration to C-level
Familiarity with product QA and Testing
Comfortable consulting with and presenting to all levels of executive management to identify business needs and recommending solutions
A strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Responsibilities
Provide functional and process expertise to client and application developers.
Provide leadership and direction either as a member or leader of project teams.
Assist with the creation, maintenance and optimization of client system
Facilitate workshops to solicit information by interviewing stakeholders and process participants to gain an understanding of current processes, and determine needs and goals for the desired end-state.
Document risks, assumptions, decisions, requirements, and processes using visual diagrams, specification documents, RACI matrices; defining steps, users, and business rules that govern the business processes.
Analysis of processes holistically to identify overlap and areas impacted by potential changes.
Collaborate with subject matter expert to further define and refine future-state processes.
Work alongside technical designers to create a framework for new business process automation capabilities.
Write test scripts and perform unit testing during workflow development, providing detailed feedback to the development team, and updating documentation as changes occur.
Create and administer training to all users in both small and large-scale settings.
Develop product roll-out and communication strategies.
Monitor system use and identify areas of future improvement.
Provide ongoing product education and support as the primary contact for the customer throughout their use of the product.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in a related field
Minimum of 1 year business process analysis experience
Proficient knowledge of software implementations
Healthcare contract experience preferred, but not required
Salary Negotiable
Salary range from $75,000 to $125,000 based on qualifications and experience
