Duties and Responsibilities
Reconcile bank accounts; prepare journal entries and cash disbursement records for entry in to appropriate systems
Analyze and summarize client information to prepare financial reports
Assist clients in performance of accounts receivable and payable functions
Interact with client staff to gain information, documents and data necessary to complete assigned tasks
Develop solutions and process improvements based on client and our firm needs
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bookkeeping Certification or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field preferred
QuickBooks experience required; either certified or willing to quickly become certified
Three or more years of experience performing general accounting transactions and functions
Basic to Intermediate knowledge of fundamental accounting and finance principles
Strong analytical, technical and research skills
Solid organizational skills and the ability to meet client deadlines with a focus on details
Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm as well as build and maintain strong relationships with client personnel
