Algo Trading - Scala Developer Job Opening in Greenwich, Connecticut - We are seeking an innovative and passionate developer with a solid software engineering background to collaborate with its algorithmic trading team on producing and refining its algorithmic trading strategies as well as to enhance its algorithmic trading infrastructure. We employ multiple asset algorithms trading equities, FX, Futures and options both domestically and internationally. You will:
Design, refine, and implement our multi-asset algorithmic trading strategies
Work closely with engineers, researchers, traders and PMs in a fast paced team environment
Design reflects an emphasis on elegance to ensure portability and supportability
Support the algorithmic infrastructure
Participate in every phase of the software development life cycle
What You?ll Bring
B.S., or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Financial Engineering or a similar discipline
Experience in network, , multi-threaded programming
Experience and demonstrated proficiency in Scala
Experience writing financial software in a fast paced environment
Experience with relevant financial market technologies a plus
Experience working in the Unix OS
Experience with Bash and Python scripting
Strong problem solving and quantitative skills
High degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology
Well organized and self-motivated
Desire to learn in a highly collaborative environment
