Staff Auditor/Accountant Job Opening in New Orleans, Louisiana - Regional public accounting firm has an immediate need for a Staff Auditor/Accountant in its New Orleans location. Position reports to the Audit Manager, requires limited travel, and offers tremendous growth. Position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
*Audit & Internal Controls
*Workpapers and appropriate supporting documents
*Walk throughs
*Reviews
*Assist with multiple sets of books as needed
*Compile financial statements
*Ad hoc projects as directed
Requirements:
*Bachelors in Accounting, CPA or CPA track (met 150 hour requirement).
*1-4 years of public accounting experience
*Ability to travel 10% of the time
*Ability to communicate effectively with upper management & clients
*Ability to work in a team environment and meet individual goals
*Strong attention to detail
