ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide the ultimate first impression of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort
Handle inbound calls, which can include general resort inquiries, accommodation bookings, golf tee times, and package bookings
Track lead and call information in appropriate formats
Making outbound calls to follow-up with all leads for resort wide sales
Sell additional activities within the Resort by recognizing opportunities to cross sell and up sell to guest
Respond to RFP?s and other request for Accommodation and activities when needed.
Assist with group and event accommodation reservations as well as coordinates rooming lists when needed
Perform Front Desk Duties as needed
Perform other necessary duties as necessary to fulfill department needs
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
Strong background in sales experience preferred
Strong understanding of professional and courteous phone etiquette
Knowledge and education of Hilton Head, Palmetto Dunes and surrounding golf areas
Knowledge of resort activities
Ability to multi-task
Strong written, verbal and social skills
Computer skills ? word, excel, outlook
Must have availability on weekends and flexible work schedule. Starting pay $12-13/hr + commission. FT w/ Benefits
golf knowledge / hospitality background a plus
