Software Developer Job Opening in Houston, Texas - The Software Developer position participates in a diverse range of projects, engages in software development life cycle activities, and sees concepts through to real life deployments around the world. This is a hands-on coding role working as part of a team.
Creates next generation telecom application software, as well as participates in ongoing sustainment of the software.
Engages with all project team members (i.e. project managers, software architects, software engineers and other software developers) to ensure technical integrity and successful delivery of high quality software products and projects.
Participates in all phases of the software development process.
Facilitates the review of own software and software designs by other staff.
Assists in implementations and conversions.

One or more years of programming experience including experience from internships, cooperatives, or class projects that involve design, development, testing, and maintenance.
Experience with an Object-oriented programming language, C# preferred.
Experience authoring ANSI 92 compliant SQL
Familiarity with C++ and VB6 languages.
Knowledge of the following:
MVC Web development (, JavaScript, jQuery).
Source code control systems (SVN, git, or TFS).
Object-Relational Mapping (NHibernate, Entity Framework).
Unit testing frameworks (MBUnit, nUnit, xUnit).
Service bus, messaging concepts (NServiceBus, MSMQ,).
Test Driven Development.
