REPORTS TO Partners
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Managers are essentially involved in almost all the areas for which partners are responsible. They should exhibit technical proficiency and the ability to supervise and complete engagements , possess a thorough knowledge of the firm?s policies and procedures, and serve as intermediaries between partners, clients, and senior accountants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assume responsibility for planning, supervising, and completing the timing and assigning of staff to engagement workpapers, resolve any problems, and keep the partner informed of all important developments in the a working knowledge of firm technology, including the use of Internet research tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, depreciation software, and the firm?s audit tools, tax preparation tools, and time and billing client billings for partner the performance of staff in administrative functions as assigned by the opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Identify targets and assist in the development of new client contacts or other relationships beneficial to the other duties as assigned from time to time by the firm?s partners.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Job involves work in the firm?s office or on the client?s premises. Work on the client?s premises may require the use of the manager?s personal to low overtime required throughout the year. High level of overtime may be required to complete audit and tax engagements.
