Membership Sales Consultant Job Opening in Snellville, Georgia - Job Description- Membership Sales Consultant -Part-time
We are seeking candidates for part- time Membership Sales / front desk positions that is motivated, energetic, outgoing, and goal oriented. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales with a minimum of one-year experience. This candidate must be engaging and willing to engage new club members to obtain referrals, as well as a community-oriented person who is always promoting the club.
In addition, you will be responsible for greeting and directing members, guest, and staff as they enter the gym. You will aid members? request along with inquiries about the gym?s operations and policies as well as perform various administrative duties as directed by the Club Manager.
Although fitness industry experience is preferred, our goal is to find a candidate that will provide the best customer service experience to our members.
Job Responsibilities includes but not limited to
Membership Sales Consultant must be able to approach the public in a confident, knowledge, professional, and personable manner
Maintains professionalism when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
Manage member accounts
Answer and direct all incoming phone calls
Attend community events as a representative of Workout Anytime
Attending require training and staff meeting
Maintaining work area and facility cleanliness
Maintain, clean, and adjust fitness equipment as needed
Clean the facility multiple times per day including restrooms, showers, floors, take out trash, wipe equipment, mop, and vacuum
Become familiar with gym equipment and how to safely use it
Safely assist members on the use of equipment
Adheres to company attendance policies
Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire with nametag while on duty.
Must have reliable transportation
Job Requirements:

Must be able to work evening and weekends
Must be reliable and dependable
Ability to multitask
Computer skills/ data entry Must have experience in customer service
CPR, First Aid, AED certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
Experience in health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
Must utilize proper customer service techniques in handling members, guests, staff, management efficiently and with respect (assess needs, maintain eye contact, accommodating tone of voice)
Qualified applicants will possess one or more years of sales experience, preferably in the fitness/exercise industry. Candidates must be able to build strong relationships with key interests in helping members achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
