Comptroller Job Opening in Saint Albans, Vermont - We are offering an opportunity to join a highly successful family-owned dealer group in beautiful upstate Vermont. Our Controller of almost 40 years is retiring, and we are searching for just the right candidate to assume this very important position in our organization.
Because of the pivotal role our new Controller will play in the growth of our company over the next generation, the candidate we will consider should have at least the following qualifications:
Bachelor Degree with major in Accounting preferred, but not required
At least five years of accounting experience
Demonstrate the personal skills needed to work closely and harmoniously with senior management and all employees.
Possess the energy and enthusiasm essential for assisting senior management in developing strategic plans and objectives for growing the company.
Prior experience in administering and enforcing the use of Dealer Management Systems is essential, with AutoMate experience a plus.
Training and experience in managing and administrating Human Resource and Payroll functions. Federal and State of Vermont compliance with all DOL and related regulations are a fundamental responsibility of this position.
