Peoplesoft Campus Solutions Solution Architect Job Opening in FRANKFORT, Kentucky - Responsibilities
Manage the joint functional team in a shared leadership role, providing leadership to protect the assets of the project and coordination between program activities;
Responsible for solution architecture of the specific PeopleSoft Campus Solutions ERP stream;
Ensure project stream resources and sub leads are directed with integration from participating departments including but not limited to Student Services, Registrar's Office, Continuing Education, ITS, Finance and HR;
Provide PeopleSoft design and build guidance to the team;
Provide solution leadership, organization and coordination of resources within the project stream as well as other resources in a functional and matrix program organization;
Ensure a uniform approach across the project stream using existing methodology and practices;
Ensure that PMO staff receives timely information to prevent risks and to maximize resource utilization to achieve a quality product on time, in scope and within budget;
Oversee design, build, and especially testing activities during functional object and system integration testing;
Endorse or approve project change requests to proceed through governance approval;
Modify schedule to reduce risks while maintaining resource leveling;
Provide feedback and guidance of best practices in PeopleSoft implementations, with particular focus on Campus Solutions reports, interfaces, conversions and enhancements (RICE);
Skills
10+ years of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions specific project implementation
5+ years of the lead role as Solution Architect
Strong testing methodology and coordination experience
Advanced enterprise project experience with 5000+ users
Advanced communications skills in negotiation, influencing, persuasion etc.
Ability to manage, coach, mentor, train other staff, including project resources
