JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform Accounts Payable activities, including data entry, invoice validation and relationship management, in accordance with Turn 14 Distribution's terms, conditions and corporate philosophy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Process stock invoices according terms, conditions and special payment programs
Validate invoices against receiving reports
Troubleshoot discrepancies with warehouse personnel and receiving records
Research and resolve pricing discrepancies with purchasing department
Resolve discrepancies related to invoice errors
Process vendor drop ship invoices for payment
Arrange vendor credit card payments, prepare credit memos as appropriate
Manage vendor relationships though phone, email and instant message contact
Review and reconcile vendor statements, assist with various account reconciliations as needed
Monitor group email in ticket system
Perform general administrative duties as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Produce accurate work efficiently with impressive attention to detail
Ability to type 50 wpm
Excellent time management skills with attention to deadlines
Ability to communicate with vendors and colleagues professionally
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal for college student or recent graduate
Experience with inventory
Minimum 1 year accounting software experience or relevant coursework required
MS Suite software experience required
