Director of Sales and Marketing Job Opening in Shelbyville, Kentucky - We are actively recruiting a Director of Sales to continue to build on our current growth. Responsibilities will include:
Plan and implement account strategies and ensure sales budgets and profits are met.
Target domestic accounts through the use of email, fax, phone, direct marketing, face-to-face meetings and tradeshows.
Contacting current customers and prospects by phone daily.
Conducting weekly sales meetings.
Submitting sales reports.
Occasional travel to regional and national industry shows.
We are seeking a talented individual who has the ability and experience to grow sales through direct distribution in the food service market i.e. Sysco, US Foods, and Bunzl as well as the ability to work with brokers and manufacturers representatives. The right candidate will have good references, unquestionable character and a successful tract record. Desired qualities include, highly organized, great communicator, a team player and excellent follow up and follow through. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Up to 10% travel may be required. This position is based out of Shelbyville, KY.
