JOB OBJECTIVE -The Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Regional Sales attain sales goals by successfully finding, closing, and the ongoing management of business from an assigned target list of the largest enterprise accounts. This position is responsible for both closing new business and ongoing customer service and expanding business within existing, Fortune 1000 client accounts.
This position is responsible for successfully managing and executing all facets of a large enterprise sales cycle. The Account Manager develops and implements a strategic account plans. Working with sales management and company leadership, this role executes the individual sales activities required to successfully meet agreed upon sales goals.
Success measures include achieving specific Price List Device (PLD) acquisition sales targets, expanding sales depth within each client to include Device Lifecycle Management (DLM) services, achieving world-class customer satisfaction, and achieving client sales growth goals at or above set quotas or targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning from and supporting Director of Regional Sales in managing existing and new clients and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
Achieving sales quota, activity, and growth goals.
Developing and executing strategic account plans to attain desired results.
Acting initially as the supporting sales role, and migrating to the lead role in all assigned major enterprise accounts.
Penetrating and closing new and repeat business in the largest enterprises by effectively communicating with all levels of client management.
Demonstrating technical skills and knowledge of company?s services and value proposition.
Developing quotes and a thorough understanding all pricing and proposals.
Working with clients and business partners in the execution of the sales strategy.
Developing a database of qualified leads through networking, research, referrals, telephone canvassing and cold calling.
Assisting with prospect and client marketing activities as needed.
Creating and conducting effective presentations and proposals that effectively address client needs and the e-Cycle value proposition.
Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing and prospecting activities including phone calls, e-mails, meetings, presentations and follow-up activities within an assigned client list.
Using the company?s CRM tool to accurately and thoroughly maintain client records and follow-up tasks to maximize territory potential.
Adhering to all company policies, procedures and codes of conduct.
Participating and contributing to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas.
Bachelor?s degree required.
Strong oral and written communication skills and business acumen.
Bright, quick learner who can think on their feet and build client relationships.
Up to 10% travel to selected assigned, large enterprises.
Two years related work experience and a demonstrated record of achievement selling to Fortune 1000 accounts a strong plus.
