MRS Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of medical reporting software for almost 30 years, is seeking a full-time Product Manager.
Our customers are the heart and soul of our products. We strive to listen to them and then prioritize requested changes, additions, and enhancements that will best meet their needs while capitalizing on the technical and testing resources within our strong development team.
As a senior member of the management team, you will ideate, prototype, and create designs that will delight users and make them more productive. Your designs will solve real problems for people working at the front lines of mammography, CT Lung exams, and other healthcare imaging modalities. In this position, you will have a direct and positive impact on the lives of the patients they serve.
Responsibilities:
-Develop strategic roadmap for the overall user experience for a community of radiologists, technologists, administrative personnel, and nurse navigators within mammography, CT for Lung, and other imaging modalities.
-Translate strategic roadmap to a set of tactically executable steps
-Communicate both strategic and tactical roadmaps to key stakeholders
- Oversee and approve product requirements
- Strongly assist in driving production priorities
-Work with external third party vendors to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
-Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples with our large customer base
-Be an expert with respect to the competition and the feature they offer
- Manage people involved with specifications, design, with some marketing involvement
Skills:
- Practical knowledge of product management practices including roadmap development, SDLC, concept validation, requirements definition, and feature prioritization
- Keen attention to detail and good judgment for when something is ?customer-ready?
- Basic project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize
- Ability to visualize user behavior through metrics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational attributes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor?s Degree in STEM or healthcare field minimum. Masters preferred.
- Prior experience in a clinical healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical management role. Radiology certification as technologist or imaging management preferred but not necessary, depending on experience.
- 5+ years? experience in a customer facing product management role
- History of building innovative, scalable technology products with rapid user adoption and utilization
- Excellent people networking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
