Overview:
Bayou Rum, along with an International Leader in the Spirits industry, is looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Team. This position will be based out of the Lake Charles area in Louisiana. The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Bayou Rum Finance team working on financial reporting and forecasting, and all other aspects of analysis and reporting functions needed for our growing company.
Responsibilities:
Support the Finance team for accurate and timely monthly financial close, KPIs and BPM reporting
Prepare comprehensive financial reporting package for senior management on a monthly basis
Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements for senior management review
Generate consolidated financial summaries, broken out by business unit, comparing Actuals, Budget, and Forecast
Assist Finance team in preparing Annual Operating Budget, as well as quarterly LEs
Seek opportunities to automate & improve financial reporting, forecasting, and month-end close processes
Provide exceptional business partnering support to help drive decision making process with financial oversight
Prepare special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis such as
Inventory valuation model
Work with IT and procurement to develop new item creation process to ensure accuracy
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in finance or accounting
2-5 years of experience in an analytical role
SAP experience preferred
Extensive experience in Microsoft excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Manufacturing experience a plus
