The Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth through all sales channels including , online retailers, Tervis stores, indirect to consumers, and business to business.
As a leading lifestyle drinkware brand known for quality products Tervis offers consumers an opportunity to express themselves with thousands of designs as well as the ability to customize drinkware through the unique, online customization software. Tervis has recently enhanced its plastic drinkware assortment with the addition of stainless steel product which is currently being distributed through all channels. Tervis has operated on the west coast of Florida (Sarasota area), for over 70 years and is family owned and operated. Products are made and designed in America by 700 dedicated employees.
The Vice President of Sales will report directly to the President as one of the top executives in the organization. As a senior leader, this person will be involved in major strategic decisions and be directly responsible for growing revenue through our multiple distribution channels, including introducing new and innovative products in the marketplace.
The VP of Sales will be expected to manage, hire, train and develop management talent to support needs of the sales teams. This is a great opportunity for someone to make a significant impact on generating increased revenue and profitability for the company.

Essential Functions:
Develops sales strategy and annual sales plans and forecasts in support of the organization?s goals

Directs implementation and execution of sales plans, policies, and practices.

Positive and energetic leader with a strong sense of urgency to create a sustainable winning culture.

Strong leader with demonstrated success in leading cross-functional business initiatives.

Proven success of problem solving and priority setting, interpreting data to identify problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to create a successful business plan.

Strong strategic thinker who will help Tervis maintain and enhance its position as a leader in the marketplace through developing innovative products and achieving profitable growth

Strong record of hiring, managing and creating a culture of accountability

Required Experience:
Accomplished sales person with 6+ years in consumer goods industry.

Four-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
